How to
make a
Loved
Bible
1st
Pray
Spend time in prayer. Before. During. After. Pray that whoever holds this Bible, Jesus will pierce their heart, open their eyes to see and ears to hear.
2nd
CAST AWAY YOUR DOUBT
ANYONE, can love a Bible. Cast away your fears of not being wise enough, not being creative enough, not having enough time. You are enough.
3rd
BUY A BIBLE
Purchase a leather (or like leather) 4x6 Bible. I like to use The New International Version or the English Standard Version. The size is important - often the receiver has to travel light with very few things. We do not want this to be a burden.
4th
LOVE IT
Highlight verses - encouragement, worry, fear, courage, grace, strength, rest, mercy, love, salvation. Follow along with The Loved Bible Project on Facebook for weekly prayer prompts.

Write on sticky notes, cards, sheets of paper. Include prayers, songs, drawings, or add stickers. See more example here.

When you Are Done
I like to put a sticky note in the front of the Bible I am working on. I put a goal... I will pray and Love this Bible for 10 minutes, 3 times a week for 30 days. It can be any goal that suits your life right now. Just hold yourself accountable. For other ideas click here.

When you pour into a Bible, you may feel it is never complete. Using your goal as a guide, when you reach the end of your timeframe, contact me at lovedbible at gmail.com and we can figure out the best drop off location.
